30-Day Fitness Challenge - Day Five

Day Five:
We're on day five!  Were you able to make it through, or did you have to go back to Day One a couple of times?  Either way, stick with it! Get your body moving.  Don't worry about how many times you have to start over, just keep at it.  If this challenge is difficult for you, it's because you have not developed the habit of exercise (like me).  And as you know, both creating AND breaking a habit is very difficult. Sometimes it takes many do-overs.  That's okay.  It's giving up that's not okay.

Tip of the Day: Plan Ahead
TGIF!  You get two days off from working out.  What are some things that you learned about yourself this week?  Did you find the best time to work out?  Did you find an exercise that you enjoy?  Have you been drinking your water?

It's important to know your strengths and weaknesses.  Knowing your weak areas helps you set realistic goals and makes you aware of possible road blocks.  Take this weekend to plan for the upcoming week.  What are some goals you want to accomplish this next week? Do you have to write your workouts on the calendar so you don't forget?  Do you need to pack your gym bag the night before?  Is your goal to drink more water?  Whatever it is, plan it out.

I heard a quote once that stayed with me, "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail."  Be prepared and you will have success!

Happy Sweating,
